- טַרְפְּשָׁאm. (טרף, with formative ש, as in טַרְכֵּש; v. P. Sm. 1527 s. v. טרפשתא) a rag-like, irregularly shaped organ, membrane Ḥull.49b ט׳ דליבא pericardium with the fat attached to it.Pl. טַרְפְּשִׁין shreds. Ib. 46a (in Hebr. dict.) נדלדלה כבד ומעורה בט׳ if the liver is detached and disarranged in shreds.
